Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus voluntary recall

Apple recently announced that certain of their 6s and 6s Plus phones have a component failure that causes them to shut down of their own accord, and it appears, they won’t switch on again. Apple have ordered a voluntary recall of the affected phones, which were manufactured since 2015. For the affected phones, Apple will replace the battery free of charge.
