Further Ford Kuga recall- clutch pressure plate

It has come to our attention that Ford notified Kuga owners during November 2018 that they are undertaking a third “safety recall” to address a fire risk flowing from a cracked clutch pressure assembly plate.

Kuga owners are warned to contact a dealership immediately if they experience abnormal noise, odour, smoke or an engine speed flare.

The notification places the blame for the fire risk on aggressive driving habits or a worn clutch disc.

If you are still driving a Kuga and would like to return it to Ford and claim your purchase price back, feel free to contact us on trudie@broekmann.co.za.
